Residents enjoyed home-cooked meals, engaging in game nights, and spending quiet evenings with family and friends. The availability of on-site management teams 24 hours a day, scheduled bus transportation for appointments, and organized excursions to cultural events and museums were appreciated by residents. The community's beautiful common areas, diverse planned activities, and opportunities for socializing contribute positively to the living experience. 

Residents value the open floor plans, patios, and emergency pull cords in the apartments for added security and convenience. Furthermore, the focus on promoting independence through various living options, from studios to two-bedroom apartments, is highlighted as a significant benefit of Azalea Estates in Chapel Hill. On the other hand, common complaints at Azalea Estates included concerns about the high cost of residing at the facility and issues with pricing structures affecting affordability for residents. Some residents mentioned difficulties with access due to construction outside the facility, dissatisfaction with food quality specifically high-fat content and preferences not aligning with apartment layouts or amenities offered.
