In a recent local feature, Olera has been highlighted in the news channel KBTX, based in College Station, Texas. This accomplishment underlines the impact Olera is beginning to make in the field of caregiving.
The honour of representing our dedicated team fell to our interim CMO, Jeswin Vennatt, who presented our ongoing project - an app designed to connect senior citizens and their caregivers to the necessary resources. Olera aims to simplify the caregiving process and reduce the considerable burden often experienced by caregivers.
Although the app is still at a preliminary stage, we received a substantial boost in the form of a $2.3 million NIH grant. This significant funding enables us to launch a pilot study, getting us one step closer to realizing our vision.
The primary function of the app will be to provide a connection between caregivers and local service providers. Moreover, it will facilitate personalized care plans for the caregivers, lessening administrative demands and streamlining operations.
Jeswin Vennatt, during his interview, had this to say about the project, "Our goal is to revolutionize the caregiving industry. By creating an effective network between caregivers, the elderly, and service providers, we're striving to develop a system that fosters efficiency and empathy."
