TJ Falohun, MS, PhD (in progress) - CEO
TJ Falohun is a biomedical engineer by training and is passionate about developing novel digital health and medical technologies. TJ is a Texas Business Hall of Fame inductee and a recipient of the prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. His passion for innovative medical technologies drives him to revolutionize the healthcare and senior care industry.
Before Olera, TJ served as a biomedical Engineer for Pfizer, where he worked on the research and design of auto-injectors. TJ also has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering, holds a patent for the use of deep learning for ocular disease diagnosis, and has co-founded multiple medical technology ventures.
During his graduate degree at Texas A&M University, TJ created a chapter of a medical technology student organization called Sling Health in March 2019. In this organization, medical, engineering, and business students solve medical problems in interdisciplinary teams and attempt to commercialize their solutions through startups. This was the birthplace of Olera.
