Aging in America Season 2 — What's Coming

Aging In America Season 2

"It's when she's looking at me and doesn't know that I'm her daughter... those are the killers."

Millions of Americans go through this very same emotion every day, yet wonder in isolation whether anyone can relate to what they're feeling.

After all, no matter who we are, at some point in our lives we will either need help ourselves or care for someone who does.

A look back at Season 1 of Aging in America

That quote was from a moment shared by Carol in the first episode of Season 2 of Aging in America, a docuseries that captures what it's really like to care for an aging loved one. In 2025, we told the stories of three such families and captured the attention of thousands of viewers with Season 1. To our surprise, the very first video gained over 190,000 views on YouTube, and hundreds of people left comments sharing their own stories. In Season 2, we wanted to not just continue but expand on telling the story of Aging in America. More perspectives, more voices, more moments to make us think and feel.

Aging in America Season 2 — What's Coming

Throughout the year, we'll be sharing five powerful stories in Season 2. I'm excited about each of them because they touch the heart in different ways. Some will be directly relatable to viewers, but even those that aren't will compel you to pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on your own life and the lives of those you love. They make us think about how we find equanimity while dealing with the difficulties of life. Even non-caregivers will find these stories deeply moving.

We're all in this together: A community of caregivers

We're also going beyond just telling stories. We're building a community where people can connect with each other, vent, ask niche questions, get connected with resources, laugh, and just be human together.

Last year, we started this community building by creating the most active community of Young Adult Caregivers on the web. We started with this demographic because it is painfully underserved. Most caregiving support resources understandably target adults who are middle-aged and older. But millions of young adults in their 20s and 30s are pulled into the role of caregiver and have to put their lives on pause with no resources or community to support them.

We'll be expanding our community beyond just young adult caregivers and will share more on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) in the coming months. Follow for updates.
