If you are referred to this company - ask for another referral. The people are all very friendly and the Therapist that comes out is great, but at the core - whoever is running this company has no clue what they are doing. A week before my surgery, I called them to setup my therapy for knee replacement surgery - I was told the therapist would be out 2 days after my surgery. Instead, they sent a supervisor to do an evaluation which didn't consist of any therapy, just took my vitals and had me do a couple of movements. The 3rd day after surgery a nurse showed up and basically did all the same things the supervisor did. It wasn't until 4 days after surgery that the therapist Lawrence came by. The day before he came he called to let me know when he would be there and told me that he was off the following week and that I should follow up with the office to confirm when his replacement would be there. I talked to Monique that same day who told me that she would look into it and get back to me. The next day when I hadn't heard anything, I called again - Monique told me she hadn't heard back but would call me as soon as she did. No calls, I called back the following Monday and Tuesday with the same results and ended up not having any therapy until the following week when I had 2 appointments. The next week, I had my first appointment and my therapist told me that the supervisor would be back on Thursday, but that he didn't have me set for another therapy appointment that week. When they supervisor came by, I asked him about my therapy appointment that week and mentioned the three appointments they had missed so far - he stated that he would get me scheduled for the following day and 2 each week for the next 2 weeks since I had been approved for 12 appointments - Their math doesn't math, but as long as I got my appointments, I agreed. My therapist let me know that he didn't get approval for Friday and only 1 appointment for the following week - The supervisor has quit responding. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FARCE OF A COMPANY!!

The people who came to my home (a nurse and a PT) were lovely, but I'm taking off stars because I felt a bit hoodwinked by the company in general. I was never asked for a copay the entire time I had therapy (which was several weeks). Then a whole year later I received 2 huge bills. I spoke with them several times to protest the charges but they would not remove the charges. Had they told me I would have had to pay more, I would have chosen someplace more affordable. Then the fact that the bills did not arrive until 1 year later seems very fishy to me. I really hate to give lower stars because the PT was lovely, but I want others to be on the lookout for this.

Next steps to sign up for the Home Health Care

  • To begin home health services like skilled nursing, physical therapy, hospice, or wound care at home, you’ll need a doctor’s referral if you want Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance to cover it. Once you have a referral, you can compare agencies based on quality ratings, nurse availability, and specialties. Our site makes it easy to find local agencies, message them directly, and get prequalified based on your specific health needs and insurance coverage. After that, expect a home health nurse to schedule an initial evaluation visit.
