From the first phone call I knew Care Mountain would be a good company to work with. Gagan talked to me at length about the services Care Mountain provides. The assessment was thorough and Andrea found us two lovely caregivers for dad. They are both team players and work well with each other. Overall, we are very happy. Care Mountain is a family owned local company dedicated to quality care, and it shows in their caregiver selection and day to day support.

My mom has a Genworth long term care policy. We found Care Mountain through the insurance company recomendation. She needed assistance with her daily tasks. Gagan came out to do an assessment and matched us with a lovely caregiver who has been wonderful to mom. She takes care of her morning routine, takes her from bed to wheelchair, manages toileting, showering and dressing. She brings mom to the dining room for breakfast where they eat together. The mornings have become pleasant now. She stays with mom till late afternon. Mom has support through the day which keeps her in good mood. What I like about Care Mountain is that they are a no drama company. The staff is really good caregivers are very experienced. So far our caregiver has not taken even one day off. We are very happy.

Next steps to sign up for the Home Health Care

  • To begin home health services like skilled nursing, physical therapy, hospice, or wound care at home, you’ll need a doctor’s referral if you want Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance to cover it. Once you have a referral, you can compare agencies based on quality ratings, nurse availability, and specialties. Our site makes it easy to find local agencies, message them directly, and get prequalified based on your specific health needs and insurance coverage. After that, expect a home health nurse to schedule an initial evaluation visit.

Next steps to sign up for the Home Care (Non-medical)

  • To start home care services like help with bathing, meals, or companionship, you can reach out directly to home care agencies. No doctor’s referral is required. Most home care is paid privately, by long-term care insurance, or through Medicaid waiver programs. It’s important to compare providers based on caregiver training, reliability, and responsiveness; our site helps you compare local options, message providers, and start the prequalification process. The typical next step is a free home assessment to create a personalized care plan.
