Cariad At Village Creek

“Cariad is not what we were told it was. My mother doesn't eat certain foods. We were assured they would have items for her to eat. They never had fresh fruit or vegetables. She has lived on items I ordered from Walmart. Not very healthy. On 5/22/23 we were told they are closing the facility and we had to be out by 6/22/23. Very stressful situation. This review won't help anyone in the future except that they have a parent company that still runs other facilities. Plano Op LLC. A management company SRI management Southwest. I will never do business with these companies. We also had problems with the director Seth Hodges. He was rude and had a short temper. Not good for elderly people. Most of the staff were wonderful. Especially the front desk and the medication nurses. They have to find new employment. Thank God we found a non-profit, faith based facility. I did not realize all the services that were missing at Cariad until I saw our new facility. I pray for all of those affected by this situation. God bless!!!”
