“The worst experience ever!! They are extremely unorganized and borderline fraudulent. My dad need home health care after being in and out of the hospital during his battle with an aggressive cancer. They sent out a nurse for in-take. She was fine. However, the physical therapists that they sent out were incompetent and were searching Google the entire time instead of providing services to my dad. We did not like her and expressed our concerns. She falsely reported back to Elara about her care to my dad. When it came time for him to discharge from their care we told them he was going into Hospice care and we were choosing a different company because we didn’t like their services. Plus, they charge insurance for visits that never happened and counted that call as a treatment visit resulting in insurance being charged. You would think that after we told them we didn’t want to use them for Hospice and had set up with another company that they would not call again. No! They proceeded to call every day in the five days left of my dad’s life and we told them not to call again. Still didn’t stop them my dad was buried not even an hour and they called again to get us to switch to their Hospice team. They are sharks and have no compassion and respect for the patients and their families. They’re like the clingy ex who can’t accept it’s over. Avoid Elara like the plague. You’ll regret it if you don’t.”
