The Ursuline Sisters of Toledo, Ohio, are a group of consecrated religious women who have been an integral part of the community in northwest Ohio since 1854. Founded in 1854, the Ursuline Sisters have a rich history of service and education in the region. The Sisters arrived in Toledo at the request of Bishop Amadeus Rappe and established the first Ursuline Convent and St. Ursula Academy, laying the foundation for their longstanding commitment to education and community support. The Sisters' dedication to education and social concerns has left a lasting impact on the region.
