This program is designed to support family caregivers, grandparents raising grandchildren, and older individuals who are relative caregivers. To be eligible for assistance, the care recipient must be 60 years or older or any age if they have Alzheimer's or dementia. Grandparents or older relatives caring for children must be 55 years or older and the primary caregiver due to the inability of biological parents to provide care.
