REACH of Dallas

REACH of Dallas is a nonprofit Resource Center for Independent Living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area that helps people with disabilities build skills for independent, self-directed lives. The Dallas center provides information and referral services, peer counseling, skills training on topics like menu planning, using public transportation, and time management, along with support groups and assistance finding accessible housing and employment. Services are offered at no cost, with Spanish available and a service area that includes Irving and many surrounding communities across northwest and southeast Dallas County. Families can expect a community-based, advocacy-focused organization that works with teens, adults, and older adults with all types of disabilities to remove barriers and increase independence.
