How do you keep you LO's pills and everything organized and make sure they're taken on time?

I'm drowning in pill bottles over here. Mom's on like 10 different medications and I can't keep track of what she needs to take when. I've tried those little plastic pill organizers but she keeps forgetting to take them anyway. And the refills are hard. What do you all do to make sure your loved ones are taking their meds correctly?
