Dont make my mistake. I tried being nice about it for two years and just got taken advantage of. Finally lost it at thanksgiving and it got ugly. Wish i had spoken up sooner. Now we have a monthly zoom call to check in and adjust who does what. My sister cant help much in person but she orders all moms supplies online and coordinates with insurance. Brother picks up meds and takes dad to appointments. might be worth talking to a family counselor if things get heated - thats what finally worked for us

What worked for us was setting up a big group chat and shared calendar. That way nobody can say they 'didn't know' about appointments or bills. My sis lives out of state but she handles all the insurance stuff and bills online, I do the day-to-day since I'm local, and my brother sends money monthly for expenses. Took like 6 months of arguments to get here but now it's ok. had to accept that fair doesn't always mean equal - we all pitch in different ways
