Financial Assistance for Caregivers

How do you apply for government benefits or subsidies to help with caregiving duties?

Are there any financial assistance programs out there for family caregivers to help with costs of caring for a parent?

Not sure what to do. Dad's care is costing way more than we expected and I had to cut back my hours at work. Are there any programs that can help with the financial side of things? Any ideas please as we are starting to struggle.
