Does anyone have a tracking device in the car should their loved one get lost? (technologically challenged here)

My husband has MCI and occasionally still drives short distances by himself. He has gotten himself turned around, but did eventually make it back home. He never stops to call as he is too proud to admit he has a problem.

I wouldn’t feel comfortable with them driving at all. Their reflexes might not be up to driving and what if they are in an accident? Would they be able to handle it? Call for help? I feel for you, this is not fun.

I am also tech challenged- however my next door neighbor has a Mom with dementia and he put an Apple Tracker on her scooter. My thought is that might work with a car as well? Perhaps find a local teenager or tech savy persont to help you. Good luck!
