Alright, I'm gonna be real with y'all - we're running out of money to pay for Mom's care. A friend mentioned something about reverse mortgages as a way to tap into home equity, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. I'm worried about losing the house, but I also don't know how else we're going to afford the care Mom needs. It all feels so overwhelming and I'm afraid of making a huge financial mistake.

What do I do if my mom keeps refuses her meds?

Guys, I'm at my breaking point with my mom's meds. Some days she takes 'em no problem, other days it's really hard to get her to swallow a pill. I've tried hiding them in food, but she's catching on. Her doctor says these meds are super important, but I can't force them down her throat.

I'm wondering if there are laws that protect caregivers from being treated unfairly at work because of their caregiving duties.
